Neodymium-doped Ir/IrO2?hollow structure significantly reduces the geometric loading of Ir in anodic catalyst layer of PEMWE without compromising catalytic layer performance. Nd doping induces critical interfacial Nd-O-Ir configurations that stabilize lattice oxygen, while intensified electron effect among mixed valent Ir that inhibits the overoxidation of Ir active sites, synergistically ensuring enhanced catalytic durability.

The ESI-MS of an open cubane cluster?Zn4L4?exhibits both disassembly and reassembly fragments, which guide and lead to the successful synthesis of three new crystalline clusters?Zn1,?Zn4L6?and?Zn6L6?corresponding to those observed in the MS. The series of ESI-MS for the clusters and crystal/solution/gas structural information relevance reveal assemble mechanism and the complex of chemical reactions.
